Program Assistant

Cat Rutstein is a Master’s student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at UNC Charlotte. She graduated cum laude from the University of Tampa in 2021 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Therapeutic Arts. She is a member of Psi Chi, the international honors society in psychology. Currently, she serves as the Program Assistant for both the Master’s in Counseling and PhD in Curriculum and Instruction programs. As a former preschool assistant teacher, Cat has a passion for expanding access to mental health care for children and adolescents.
