Bio
Tabitha R. Haynes, Ph.D., LCMHCS, LCAS is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Counseling at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She also serves as the Director of Testing. Dr. Haynes began her professional career as a licensed professional counselor providing clinical mental health counseling in a variety of settings, including residential treatment and inpatient psychiatric facilities, community agencies, and university counseling centers. She joined UNC Charlotte’s Department of Counseling in spring 2021 and enjoys teaching multicultural and social justice counseling, diagnosis and treatment planning, and counseling techniques and internship. Dr. Haynes has additional specialties in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy and the treatment of substance use disorders.
