Bryan Stare (they/them), Ph. D., LPC (Texas) is an assistant professor in the Department of Counseling at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Before teaching, they counseled adult and adolescent clients in community, residential, and inpatient settings in north Texas. Dr. Stare‚Äôs research interests include counseling and advocacy in judicial settings, humanistic counseling, and addictions education. They are an active member of the International Association of Addictions and Offender Counseling.
